Round 4, 114th Overall: Alex Wright, EDGE, UAB

This would be a really fun haul for the Atlanta Falcons, especially on the edge. They’ve been looking for a serious upgrade, and adding Alex Wright to pair with Thibodeaux would be insane. Wright has the frame and length to be a problem on the edge. The pop in his hands is very good and he can push the pocket with explosion to power. The closing speed is also extremely good. Wright can be very productive in the NFL, and won’t have to sit on a three man line like he did at UAB.

Round 5, 151st Overall: Zamir White, RB, Georgia

The workhorse running back spot is open for the Atlanta Falcons, and Zamir White would be a great one to come in and be that guy right away. His combination of speed, lateral movement skills, vision, and power make for a top five running back in the class. He’s had knee injuries, but a healthy Zamir White is a difficult running back to stop.

Round 6, 190th Overall: Eric Johnson, DL, Missouri State

The edge has been addressed, but how about getting Grady Jarrett a running mate on the interior. This line will be the all-athleticism and quicks team with Eric Johnson joining the part. Johnson has impressive twitch for a defensive tackle, and showed that ability down in Mobile.

Round 6, 213th Overall: Decobie Durant, CB, South Carolina State

The small-school corners are exciting in the 2022 NFL Draft, and Decobie Durant is one of them. He likely is a slot guy only because of his size, but the athleticism and ball skills are there. He also competes his butt off on every play, and isn’t afraid to lay the boom helping in the run game and as an open-field tackler.
