21. New England Patriots: Devin Lloyd, LB, Utah

The New England Patriots are one of the tougher teams to figure out, but when you look at the defense, more specifically the back seven. Corner or safety would make sense, but why not another chess piece at linebacker? Devin Lloyd does so much for a defense, whether it be creating turnovers and clogging passing lanes, rushing the passer, and shooting gaps to defend the run.

22. Green Bay Packers: George Karlaftis, EDGE, Purdue

It’s deja vu from the 2019 NFL Draft for the Green Bay Packers. Rashan Gary and Preston Smith are in house, but EDGE3 is still a massive need. George Karlaftis fits the age and athleticism “guardrails” for the Packers, and he’d be able to rotate in with the power, technical skills, and effort to play on the edge and kick inside for crazy third-down fronts.

23. Arizona Cardinals: Zion Johnson, OL, Boston College

As much fun as it would be to grab the last receiver, the Arizona Cardinals do need help on the offensive line to protect Kyler Murray. Zion Johnson should be considered a top 10 player in the draft. His quicks and power give him the ability to fit in a zone scheme, and his grip strength and anchor are fantastic in pass protection. He has guard-center versatility as well.

24. Dallas Cowboys: Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas

The Dallas Cowboys have been linked to Treylon Burks, and it comes to fruition in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft. Burks has all the athletic traits in the world, with the size and speed to win deep versus press coverage on the outside, and the speed to eviscerate angles after the catch. The mental side of route running needs work, but he can play in the slot in year one in Dallas.
