Round 6, 204th Overall: Juanyeh Thomas, S, Georgia Tech

The Tennessee Titans have a clear star in house at safety in Byard, and the secondary looks pretty good overall. Amani Hooker has played well at times, but his contract expires after the 2022 season. In a deep safety class in the 2022 NFL Draft, getting one would be a good idea.

Juanyeh Thomas is flying under the radar, and he likely gets drafted on day three. However, he brings a level of instincts at every level of the defense. He flies downhill and hits with authority, and has flashed the ability to close and finish to create turnovers. Keep him active in spots on defense and let him thrive on special teams in year one before increasing his snap count in the future.

Round 6, 219th Overall: E.J. Perry, QB, Brown

Even with questions surrounding Tannehill, this Titans mock draft didn’t go the route of the rumors swirling about a quarterback at pick 26. It just feels unlikely with where the team is at and currently built. However, that doesn’t mean ignore the position altogether.

E.J. Perry is an intriguing dart throw on day three. He plays with poise, is very accurate in the short and intermediate areas of the field, and has the athleticism to move around and make plays out of structure.
