The Falcons use draft capital that they acquired via the Matt Ryan and Julio Jones trades to land their next franchise cornerstone in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft.

Scouting Report. Liberty. 5. player. Pick Analysis. QB. Malik Willis. 44

The first trade in this 3-round 2022 NFL Mock Draft! The Falcons traded franchise icon Matt Ryan earlier in the offseason and currently have Marcus Mariota slated to start. This gives Malik Willis the freedom to learn behind the veteran for a season, considering the fact that the rebuild just began in Atlanta he won’t be thrust into the lineup. The move officially ushers in a new era for the Falcons.

player. Pick Analysis. 6. Ole Miss. Matt Corral. 87. Scouting Report. QB

This is not the quarterback you expected to see is it? While it is true that Matt Rhule recruited Kenny Pickett out of high school, that connection is not enough to guarantee a pairing in the NFL. Rhule must be feeling some heat at this point, so bringing in a dual-threat like Matt Corral who can run a heavy RPO system has to look appealing for the former college coach in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft.

EDGE. 7. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Oregon. Kayvon Thibodeaux. 31

The Giants land arguably the best player in the 2022 NFL Draft with the first of their back-to-back picks. Kayvon Thibodeaux was once a shoo-in to go first overall, but due to what some say was a terrible interview cycle during the offseason, he is expected to drop further. The slide ends here at No. 7, as the Giants have a guy with superstar potential fall in their laps.

31. Pick Analysis. OL. Evan Neal. player. Scouting Report. Alabama. 8

This could not have possibly turned out better for the Giants. Not only did they accumulate two extra day-two picks in 2022, they added Thibodeaux and now Alabama offensive tackle Evan Neal. For what it’s worth, these two fall inside the top four of my big board. Insane value. These moves top off both the offensive and defensive lines.
