Jacksonville Jaguars: Top Day Two 2022 NFL Draft Targets
Defense
The Jacksonville Jaguars are looking good on defense, especially when you add in the number one pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. The defensive line looks full, and Oluokun helps out the linebacker room. But, don’t guarantee anything.
Perrion Winfrey
Saying the Jaguars are set at defensive tackle is fine, but they could definitely use some more juice. Perrion Winfrey played out of position at Oklahoma, and he can be a penetrating three technique with his quickness and linear explosiveness to get into the backfield.
Quay Walker
Yes, Oluokun should slide in to middle linebacker, but the Jaguars really don’t have much outside of him. Getting someone to run and chase would be the perfect complement. Quay Walker has the range and speed to cover ground to the perimeter and in coverage. He’s going higher according to those plugged in to the league, and maybe it’s early on day two.
Christian Harris
Like Walker, Christian Harris has the ability in open space to thrive. He won’t do the best taking on blocks downhill, but he can close with impressive speed and packs a punch as a tackler.
Bryan Cook
The safety group is a deep one, and it’s possible a bunch come off the board late in round one and early on day two. Seeing what Andre Cisco provides with his range and ball skills is important, but Bryan Cook can be a “glue guy” in the secondary with his instincts, tackling ability, and versatility.
