Wide Receiver Targets

The Los Angeles Chargers don’t necessarily have a bad receiver room. They brought back Mike Williams to be the red zone/ball-winner. Keenan Allen is their possession receiver and separator. Josh Palmer was a third-round pick last year, and Jalen Guyton has the speed to win deep. However, we know that wide receiver is a position where you can’t have enough nowadays.

Jameson Williams

Jameson Williams has to be the top target should he fall to 17. He would round out the room perfectly with his ability as a deep threat. Giving this offense more explosiveness, especially with the arm talent Justin Herbert has, would make the AFC tremble. Williams has separation quickness, flashes good hip sink in his transitions, and has the easy acceleration to turn any reception into a massive gain.

Chris Olave

Speaking of speed, Chris Olave has a bit of it as well. Olave ran a 4.39 at the scouting combine, and he has easy speed on tape to win down the field. He also does the little things well to be a natural separator at the next level, from staying creative in his stem and identifying coverage extremely quickly. Olave tracks the ball well and will be a threat at all three levels.
