The Chicago Bears came in to the 2022 offseason with a bare cupboard in terms of selections, and not a lot of space to make moves in free agency. They made a huge move early on, trading away superstar pass rusher Khalil Mack to the Los Angeles Chargers for a couple of selections, one of which is a second-round selection in the 2022 NFL Draft. It sheds some cap and gets them right for a short rebuild.

The Bears have made a few signings in free agency. The wide receiver room got a little bit of a boost with Byron Pringle and Equanimeous St. Brown.
