The Chicago Bears help out Justin Fields in multiple ways and help out the secondary in this 7-round 2022 NFL Mock Draft.

The Chicago Bears came in to the 2022 offseason with a bare cupboard in terms of selections, and not a lot of space to make moves in free agency. They made a huge move early on, trading away superstar pass rusher Khalil Mack to the Los Angeles Chargers for a couple of selections, one of which is a second-round selection in the 2022 NFL Draft. It sheds some cap and gets them right for a short rebuild.

The Bears have made a few signings in free agency. The wide receiver room got a little bit of a boost with Byron Pringle and Equanimeous St. Brown. Both are smooth players with the requisite speed and reliable hands to be solid players at the end of the roster. Lucas Patrick, another coming over from Green Bay, gives the Bears versatility at guard and center to help ease the loss of James Daniels. Al-Quadin Muhammad came over from the Colts to play a role up front for head coach Matt Eberflus (the former Colts defensive coordinator).
