Jameson Williams. player. 54. Pick Analysis. 15. Scouting Report. Wide Receiver. Alabama

With their first of back-to-back picks (and three of five) in the 2022 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles go back to the Alabama wide receiver room to get another weapon for Jalen Hurts. After selecting DeVonta Smith in the first round a year ago, Jameson Williams will reunite with his Crimson Tide teammate in Philly.

Jameson Williams is a perfect complement to what Smith brings to the table. Not that Smith does not have impressive speed, but he really makes his living with his silky smooth route running and glue-like hands. Williams will really take the top off of the defense, and is a real threat to take it the distance from anywhere on the field.

If not for a torn ACL, Jameson Williams surely would have wowed with his speed at the 2022 NFL Draft Scouting Combine. Similar to previous Crimson Tide receivers, Henry Ruggs, Jerry Jeudy, DeVonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle high end speed, explosive playmaking and coming from the wide receiver factory that is Alabama will surely help Williams stay towards the top of the 2022 NFL Draft, and Philadelphia seems like a great home for him.

Pick Analysis. Cornerback. Clemson. Andrew Booth Jr.. player. 54. Scouting Report. 16

With their second of back-to-back picks in the first round of this 2022 NFL Mock Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles add a cornerback to start alongside Darius Slay. Andrew Booth Jr. is a starting caliber corner with good length, size, athleticism and ball skills.

Andrew Booth Jr. is an aggressive corner who is effective coming down hill in run support and loves to jump routes to make big plays. He has shown the athleticism to stay glued to receivers in man coverage and has the length to be disruptive at the catch point.

For the Eagles, Booth would be a great addition to Darius Slay and Avonte Maddox. The Eagles would really start to have a playmaking secondary and defense that can create havoc for opposing offenses. Also, the Eagles have another pick coming up very soon in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft.
