3-Round 2022 NFL Mock Draft after Tyreek Hill, Davante Adams Trades
The Buffalo Bills are a great fit for Florida cornerback Kaiir Elam. Sean McDermott’s defense will allow Elam to utilize his size, length and strength to knock receivers off their routes and finish strong at the catch point.
Kaiir Elam will excel in a defense that plays a lot of press and zone. He has struggled at times in man coverage on deeper routes, but press will allow him to use his size and strength, while using his ball skills and instincts to make plays in zone.
The Buffalo Bills secondary was absolutely put on blast by the Kansas City Chiefs in their playoff loss a year ago. The AFC is not getting any easier, so the Bills will have to have to make sure their defense is playing their best all game, every game if they want to compete.
The need for a wide receiver in the 2022 NFL Draft was much greater for the Tennessee Titans before their recent trade for Robert Woods. However, a player like Chris Olave can make a dangerous offense even scarier.
With A.J. Brown and Robert Woods, Chris Olave would give Ryan Tannehill and the Titans yet another silky smooth route runner at their disposal. Olave doesn’t seem to be the most sudden at the top of his routes, but he is incredibly intelligent and understands defenses, seamlessly finding a way to get open.
Olave also has some impressive speed and could help take the top off of the defense for Brown and Woods to work underneath, and to keep the defense from loading the box against Derrick Henry. While the Titans could address another position at this point in the 2022 NFL Mock Draft, Chris Olave is just too good to pass up.
