3-Round 2022 NFL Mock Draft after Tyreek Hill, Davante Adams Trades
After losing Chandler Jones in free agency, the Arizona Cardinals may look to bolster their pass rush through the 2022 NFL Draft. David Ojabo is a name that makes sense here, but the Achilles injury complicates things a bit. Instead, they add more help with the interior rush, with one of the best penetrating defensive linemen in the draft.
Devonte Wyatt may (literally) be overshadowed by his Georgia teammate, Jordan Davis, at times, but Wyatt is a much more polished defensive lineman entering the NFL at this point. He has enough strength and anchor to hold his ground and eat blocks, but really excels with his burst and athleticism through the line and into the backfield. Wyatt plays with a relentless motor and will fit in well on the Cardinals defensive line, getting a chance to learn from a guy like J.J. Watt.
With Connor Williams heading to Miami in free agency and La’el Collins bound for Cincinnati following his release, the Dallas Cowboys really some help on their offensive line in they want to grow their offense in 2022. Here, they find their left guard in Kenyon Green.
Kenyon Green is a powerful force, particularly in the run game, moving his opponent off his spot with ease. He is a solid athlete and should be able to fit right on with what the Cowboys try to do on offense. With Tyron Smith to his side, Green should be able to learn a ton early in his NFL career.
After the departure of Amari Cooper, many people will plug a wide receiver in here no matter what. But at this point in the 2022 NFL Mock Draft, I believe Green brings more value. He will come in and fill a need right away, and will help the offense grow by opening holes in the run game and by protecting Dak Prescott.
