Patrick Peterson, Cornerback

(1 yr / 5 mil)

James Bradberry is undoubtedly the better player, but if the Giants can replace him with veteran Patrick Peterson at half of the cost — it’s a no-brainer. Peterson spent 2021 in Minnesota, and wasn’t on the level that he used to be in Arizona. He’s still a solid veteran starter. The New York Giants will add a long-term Bradberry replacement in the 2022 NFL Draft, Peterson is merely a place holder.

Kyzir White, Linebacker

(3 yr / 20 mil)

Kyzir White fills the biggest need on the defense and gives the team a younger player with solid upside going forward. White is only 25 years old and is not a name that many fans know. That should change. White would immediately be the most talented linebacker on the roster, and is a great fit in the new defensive scheme. They will need to attack the linebacker position in the draft as well, but White gives them a young player with plenty of experience to build the group around.
