2022 NFL Mock Draft: Round 2, Pick 47 (Buffalo Bills)*

After using their first pick from the Atlanta trade on the defensive line, the Bills move back to the secondary for this selection. Buffalo had the top passing defense in the NFL this past season, but Levi Wallace could depart in free agency. If that’s the case, Buffalo can look to the draft to fill the spot.

Jaquan Brisker is a versatile defensive back that can contribute in a lot of different ways. Given the talent of Buffalo’s secondary, he might begin in a depth role across the board, but can blossom into a starter anywhere in the secondary down the road.

2022 NFL Mock Draft: Round 2, Pick 48 (Chicago Bears)

Pick Analysis. OT. Minnesota. Daniel Faalele. 48. player. Scouting Report. 57

The Chicago Bears get a second pick in the second round thanks to the Los Angeles Chargers trading for Khalil Mack. That move opens things up for the Bears from a financial perspective next offseason, while also netting them some much-needed draft capital.

After selecting Zion Johnson, it makes sense for the Bears to get all the offensive line help they can get. The hope is Teven Jenkins takes over at left tackle in 2022, and Larry Borom will provide great depth. Now, they get their potential starter on the right side in Daniel Faalele.

Faalele is a massive human at 6’7″ and 384 pounds. He’s hard to move off the ball and will provide a wall in pass protection on the right side, while also rolling his hips well in the run game. Operation protect Justin Fields is going well.
