2-Round 2022 NFL Mock Draft: Recent QB moves Shake up Mock Draft

2022 NFL Mock Draft: Round 2, Pick 33 (Jacksonville Jaguars)
Don’t be surprised if the Jacksonville Jaguars end up trading this pick. NFL teams have about 16 hours, give or take, to dwell on who is left after the first round and what they would be willing to trade to get that player. For Jacksonville who is trying to rebuild, those offers will be enticing.
However, if a player like George Karlaftis is left on the board, then the Jaguars need to stand strong and make the pick themselves. Karlaftis is considered a Top 20 prospect on some boards and would take away some of the sting from passing on Hutchinson with the top pick.
Over 26 college games, Karlaftis totaled 29 tackles for loss and 14 sacks. Had he played more games to prove he can do this consistently, his value would be much higher. Putting up stats like that in the Big Ten isn’t easy.
2022 NFL Mock Draft: Round 2, Pick 34 (Detroit Lions)
The Detroit Lions passing game was a bit brutal to watch at certain points during the 2021 season and it was because of the wide receiver unit. Amon-Ra St. Brown started to catch on later in the year, but this position group needs some work this offseason.
Over the last two seasons, Dotson played in 21 games and totaled over 2,000 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns. If he can bring that production to the Lions offense that already has budding playmakers in St. Brown and D’Andre Swift, Detroit might be able to surprise some in 2022 offensively.
