2-Round 2022 NFL Mock Draft: Recent QB moves Shake up Mock Draft

2022 NFL Mock Draft: Round 1, Pick 31 (Cincinnati Bengals)
It’s quite honestly incredible that the Cincinnati Bengals made it to the Super Bowl with the offensive line they had. The Bengals allowed 55 sacks during the 2021 season, the third-most in the league behind only the Baltimore Ravens and Chicago Bears. They need to do better up front if they want Joe Burrow’s career to be a long one.
Bernhard Raimann has flown under the radar a bit, coming from Central Michigan. He’s been able to exhibit both strength and athleticism that should allow him to fit right in with this Cincinnati fast-paced offense.
2022 NFL Mock Draft: Round 1, Pick 32 (Detroit Lions)
Personally, I’m not sold on anything about this pick. I don’t know how well Matt Corral will translate to the NFL and I’m not sure Detroit takes a quarterback this year. Jared Goff played well enough to gain the trust of the coaching staff for another year, but this is a hard opportunity to pass up.
There’s clear upside with Corral and having two first round picks opens the door for the Detroit Lions to gamble a bit here. Like Atlanta taking Ridder, adding Corral in the first round gains another year on a rookie deal which goes a long way at the quarterback position. Again, I don’t know if this is the right pick or fit, but it’s hard to look pass the opportunity.
