15. Philadelphia Eagles (via MIA): David Ojabo, EDGE, Michigan

The Philadelphia Eagles are on the clock with back-to-back picks in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft, and their needs match up extremely well with the top players at deep positions available. Up first is edge rusher, which needs more juice with the disappointing play of Derek Barnett and Brandon Graham getting up there in age.

David Ojabo possesses a ton of upside on the edge, and has the burst, bend, flexibility, and rush moves to make an impact from day one, which is insane for someone who started playing football five years ago. He needs work to stick on early downs as a run defender, but the pass rush toolbox is insane.

16. Philadelphia Eagles (via IND): Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas

The wide receiver room in Philadelphia is one that has a star in Devonta Smith and an intriguing deep threat in Quez Watkins. What the unit is missing is size, and that’s where Treylon Burks comes in.

Burks maybe didn’t have the combine many hoped for, but his numbers, especially in terms of speed, were very good for a 225-pound player. The acceleration and sustained speed he has in the open field is impressive, and he’s a dominant player at the catch point, despite some odd explosion numbers. He can get schemed touches early on while he develops a route tree.
