The New York Jets boost both sides of the ball in this seven round 2022 NFL Mock Draft, with an offensive focus in the first round.

After a season filled with plenty of speed bumps, the New York Jets found a bit of success late in the season, pushing the reigning Super Bowl champs to the limit at home. They also beat the eventual AFC Champion Bengals and the top-seeded Titans.

Zach Wilson had his share of struggles in his rookie campaign, but he found a bit of rhythm near the end of the season, processing things better and showing more confidence attacking the middle of the field.

The Jets did well finding some pieces on offense in the 2021 draft, landing both Alijah Vera-Tucker and Elijah Moore, both of which played a ton in year one and had successful seasons. Both will be focal points in year two.

Despite losing a couple important players in Carl Lawson and Marcus Maye, the Jets played some impressive defense. Head coach Robert Saleh got the best out of the rush unit and the secondary, both of which featured young players.

New York Jets 2022 Mock Draft: Helping Out Zach Wilson Early

This offseason should feature an aggressive New York Jets front office once again. They can’t do enough to get more help on the offensive side of the ball for Wilson, and hopefully Mekhi Becton is back ready to roll in 2022. The defense can use a boost too. The good news is the cupboard is full for the Jets in the 2022 NFL Draft, featuring four picks in the top 40. Let’s look at who they could select with this Jets mock draft.
