Round 3, Pick 65: George Pickens, WR, Georgia

Like the offensive line, the wide receiver unit for the Jacksonville Jaguars could see some major changes. D.J. Chark, Tavon Austin and Laquon Treadwell could all become free agents this offseason. The Jaguars could, and should, bring some of them back and there’s free agency as well, but adding more weapons for Lawrence to look for will be key.

George Pickens had a disappointing 2021 season, catching just five passes over four games, which has caused his draft stock to fall, but the talent is still there. Between 2019 and 2020, Pickens hauled in 14 touchdowns and registered 1,240 yards. He could be a nice value selection for the Jaguars to pair with Lawrence here in the early parts of the third round.

Round 3, Pick 70: Dylan Parham, OL, Memphis

As I said earlier, the Jacksonville Jaguars need to protect Trevor Lawrence. The list of potential interior offensive lineman that could leave is extensive, starting with Andrew Norwell. Whether it’s starters or depth, Jacksonville is going to need to select multiple offensive lineman this year.

Dylan Parham is a bit undersized at 6-foot-2, but he has a lot of potential and can become a starter at the guard position in 2022 if needed. If Jacksonville can buy him a year or two with a veteran signing he could turn into a great piece to this offensive line in the near future.
