Round 7, 235th Overall: Gregory Junior, CB, Ouachita Baptist

Even with the addition of Goodrich, the Los Angeles Rams can still use more help in the secondary. Gregory Junior got real exposure down at the Senior Bowl, and should be on many analysts’ draft radars after his performance.

He hung with some of the top receivers in Mobile, and could be a good addition as a versatile corner. His ability to play physical early in route stems and not give up free space is impressive. He stays physical down the field and his transitions are overall solid. Junior has the speed to play outside, and he won’t give up free space to slot receivers inside either.

Round 7, 250th Overall: Tre Williams, EDGE, Arkansas

Yes, we’re going to the old, cliche saying here at the end of this Rams mock draft. Even if Miller returns, you can never have enough pass rushers on your defense. Getting to the quarterback quicker and quicker is important, which can favor the strong rushers who can generate some initial shock to push tackles backwards.

Tre Williams is someone who had a significant jump in 2021 for Arkansas. He generated plenty of pressure on the edge, mostly due to some great hand usage and counters at contact, whether it be ripping through or a push/pull late in his rush. Get him in the rotation while he develops.
