Round 6, 210th Overall: Ryan Van Demark, OT, Connecticut

More offensive line for the Los Angeles Rams? Yes, and I know it’s probably getting tiring, but ultimately, this unit could have serious turnover. A lot hinges on Whitworth, and a decent amount on Noteboom and Allen. It’ll clear things up when we know, but we don’t right now.

With what they have guaranteed for 2022, there isn’t any tackle depth if Whitworth hangs it up. He somehow didn’t get a combine invite, but Connecticut’s Ryan Van Demark is an impressive player in pass protection. He has quick feet, good balance, and can hang with rushers who convert speed to power.

Round 6, 212th Overall: Matt Henningsen, DL, Wisconsin

As stated previously, with so many picks in this Rams mock draft, it’s hard not to work back to the trenches here. Even with Aaron Donald, A’Shawn Robinson, Greg Gaines, and Bobby Brown, there’s no reason to not add more to the rotation.

Matt Henningsen is an intriguing player simply on his style. Henningsen attacks gaps with an intent to run over offensive linemen, and plays with good technique to quickly stack and shed would-be blocker. His ability to “slant” is very good, and combined with good closing speed, can be a nice fit in the rotation for the Rams, even as a rookie.
