Round 4, 103rd Overall: Mario Goodrich, CB, Clemson

The Los Angeles Rams start things off in the secondary, where they have some deficiencies. Darious Williams struggled in 2021 with the slight tweaks in the scheme Raheem Morris brought, and Williams and Donte Deayon are both set to be free agents. The Rams are hoping for Robert Rochell to step up in year two, but it’s still one of the weaker units on the roster.

Mario Goodrich is maybe the forgotten man at corner for Clemson behind Andrew Booth, but Goodrich is a physical player who helps out massively against the run, and stays efficient in short areas. He has quick recognition skills and impressive closing speed for the position.

Round 4, 141st Overall: Alec Lindstrom, C, Boston College

The Rams mock draft shifts sides of the ball here to look at the offensive line. Brian Allen is a free agent, but could return in 2022. If he doesn’t, though, center becomes an area of need.

Alec Lindstrom is a rock solid center prospect who will be coveted in the middle rounds of the 2022 NFL Draft. The experience is a big draw, and Lindstrom plays with a physical edge in the run game. He will excel with combo blocks in duo concepts, and has good control in pass protection. There’s a good chance he can plug in and start right away.
