2022 NFL Mock Draft: Picks 17-20

17. Los Angeles Chargers: Jameson Williams, WR, Alabama

The Los Angeles Chargers will often be paired with Jordan Davis, but they go the premium position route in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft. The Super Bowl proved that having a great WR2 helps, and Jameson Williams can be that and more for the Chargers. Williams has field-tilting speed, good separation quickness, and a wide catch radius. He can be a deep threat and an underneath separator with the acceleration to shred defenses after the catch.

18. New Orleans Saints: Chris Olave, WR, Ohio State

The New Orleans Saints could be a team to go quarterback early in the 2022 NFL Draft, but the veteran route might suit them better. They, like the Chargers, need a WR2 in the offense. Chris Olave fits the WR2 role perfectly while primarily thriving as a deep threat. His route running prowess will be much-appreciated in New Orleans.

19. Philadelphia Eagles: Nakobe Dean, LB, Georgia

It’s been far too long since the Eagles had a force at the linebacker position, and they get it here in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft. Nakobe Dean is a great run defender with elite instincts at the position. He is dynamite blitzing downhill and offers great help in coverage too.

20. Pittsburgh Steelers: Desmond Ridder, QB, Cincinnati

The Pittsburgh Steelers could actually roll with Mason Rudolph in 2022 and build the offensive line short-rebuild style. In this 2022 NFL Mock Draft, though, they get a potential franchise quarterback in Desmond Ridder. Ridder’s mobility, leadership skills, and live arm give their offense much more potential going forward.
