2022 NFL Mock Draft: Picks 9-12

9. Denver Broncos: Malik Willis, QB, Liberty

The 2022 NFL Draft doesn’t feature the best quarterback class, but they’ll eventually come off the board in round one. The Denver Broncos strike first in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft, going with Liberty quarterback Malik Willis. Willis has a bazooka for a right arm, and has improved his accuracy while also being able to make plays on the right. The potential is sky high with Willis, who can improve within structure.

10. New York Jets (via SEA): Drake London, WR, USC

The New York Jets miss out on the top three tackles, but they can still help out Zach Wilson in other ways. Here, they get him a jump-ball winner in Drake London. London was a contested catch wizard in 2021, but also proved he could separate as a route runner, expanding his tree last fall as well. He is tough and slippery after the catch as well, and could be the “X” in Mike LaFleur’s offense.

11. Washington Commanders: Kenny Pickett, QB, Pittsburgh

The Washington Commanders are the next team to take a quarterback in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft. Washington is a team that feels like a quarterback away from getting back to contending, and Kenny Pickett can help them get there. Pickett’s high floor, sharp accuracy, playmaking ability, and toughness could put the Commanders thick in the NFC East race in 2022.

12. Minnesota Vikings: Derek Stingley Jr., CB, LSU

The Minnesota Vikings have thrown a lot of capital at corner in the Rick Spielman-Mike Zimmer era, and yet it continues here in a new era. This defense is still lacking playmakers on defense, and Patrick Peterson is a free agency. They get a player with impressive pedigree in Derek Stingley Jr., who is still a blue-chip guy for many. The hope is he gets back to 2019 levels of production in the NFL.
