Cincinnati Bengals: Joe Burrow

Let’s face it, the Cincinnati Bengals won’t have to worry about their quarterback for a very, very long time. Not only has Joe Burrow proven himself to be the best option for the Bengals, but one of the best options in the NFL in just his second season at the game’s highest level.

In just his second season, and coming off an ACL injury, Burrow has been able to lead the Bengals to at least a Super Bowl appearance with the story not yet finished. After going 2-7-1 as a rookie over 10 starts, Burrow burst back onto the scene in 2021, and with his favorite college target in Ja’Marr Chase. The duo of Burrow and Chase is a promising one and could end up being one of the best duos in Cincinnati sports history if this success continues.

The best part about Burrow is his rookie contract. Despite being as great as he has been already, the Bengals will have a huge discount for the next three years before he’s due an extension. That should give Cincinnati the freedom to continue adding more pieces around Burrow while keeping the pieces already established in town for the next few years at least.
