Round 3, 76th Overall: Boye Mafe, EDGE, Minnesota

The Baltimore Ravens have always kept up a strong unit on the edge. Their most recent first round pick at edge, Odafe Oweh, was dynamite in his rookie season, proving the bet on tools was the right call. Still, with Houston likely gone, and just Jaylon Ferguson and Daelin Hayes waiting in the wings, adding to the cupboard makes sense.

Boye Mafe was excellent down in Mobile, doing the same things he’s done on tape with the Gophers. Mafe has a wicked first step, impressive change of direction skills, and can threaten the outside track. What’s more, Mafe always looks like he has a plan of attack, and his counters are impressive. He could make an impact early and form a great duo with Oweh.

Round 3, 99th Overall: Chris Paul, OL, Tulsa

Even with James and Alejandro Villanueva returning at the tackle position, there has to be an upgrade there. Protecting Lamar Jackson needs to be priority number one.

Chris Paul has intriguing versatility along the line. He took snaps at right tackle, right guard, and left guard in Mobile, and has good pass sets and a solid anchor to thrive in pass protection. He also explodes off the snap to be a factor in the run game.
