Who Wins The Week?

It’s going to be hard to believe that Kenny Pickett doesn’t come away a winner this week. His style and demeanor seems like one that coaches will enjoy, and he will thrive with the competition this week. It’s hard to say when the first quarterback comes off the board (Carolina, Washington, maybe outside shot Denver), but Pickett could easily be that guy and move the needle for everyone after the week.

Don’t be surprised if Malik Willis shines this week, as there are reports about phenomenal character with Willis. He will embrace the week for sure, and could get better as the week goes on. He’s on the Lions roster, who could be interested in a quarterback despite potentially rolling out Jared Goff in 2022.

It feels like Sam Howell isn’t generating the buzz that others are for Senior Bowl week, but it isn’t out of the realm of possibility for him to have the best week. There are some clear issues to work on, but he brings serious “Baker Mayfield” vibes with him in terms of a passer and his play style.

Whoever wins the week, the Senior Bowl will prove to be that proving grounds for the quarterbacks, waiting for one to rise in a “meh” class. It’s going to be a fun week to watch!
