In its deepest group ever, six quarterbacks will compete to separate themselves from the pack at the Senior Bowl.

The first major event of the 2022 NFL Draft is nearly here, as the Senior Bowl is set to take place down in Mobile with a fascinating week of practices followed, of course, by a game. The Lions and Jets will be down coaching the teams, and like always, the quarterback position is going to be of hyper focus.

The Senior Bowl has had some serious studs at quarterback pass through in recent years. Josh Allen showed off the incredible arm talent back in 2018, and Justin Herbert led the 2020 group. Both ended up going in the top 10.

The 2022 group is shaping up to be perhaps the deepest group that Mobile has ever had. It features six quarterbacks who could end up being top 75 picks in the 2022 NFL Draft. There are a few who are getting that first round buzz, and one of them could really separate from the pack with a strong week.

Of course, there are some pre-draft process opinions already regarding the class. Kenny Pickett continues to move to the top. The interest in Desmond Ridder and Malik Willis could grow after watching that ridiculous Bills-Chiefs game. Is Carson Strong’s knee alright?

The week will be a proving grounds of sorts while the draft world watches closely. Every throw will be under the microscope, and correct or not, what scouts, coaches, and analysts see and hear throughout the week will play into evaluations and selections come draft time.

What should we be watching for throughout the week and who could come out a big winner? Let’s dive in!
