After a heartbreaking loss on Sunday, the Buffalo Bills now turn their attention to the offseason and the 2022 NFL Draft.

Sunday’s loss was a very tough pill to swallow for the Buffalo Bills, but the good news for them is that the future is bright. No quarterback besides Tom Brady has ever beaten Mahomes in the playoffs and the Bills just came as close as you possibly can to doing so.

Josh Allen proved just how good he is at just 25 years old and has the league excited about the battles between him and Mahomes ahead. With him at quarterback, the Buffalo Bills are in very good hands and they’ll enter next year as super bowl contenders.

The Bills have a lot of pieces on the roster besides Allen as well. At receiver, Stefon Diggs is one of the best in the league and Gabriel Davis who was in just his second year just had a one of the best playoff games for a receiver ever.

On the defensive side on the ball they are pretty good all around, but especially in the secondary. Corner Tre’Davious White unfortunately tore his ACL during the Thanksgiving game and missed the rest of the season but will be back next year. Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde are arguably the best safety duo in the league and will also be back next season.

So, the star power is certainly there for the Bills, but there are position groups they can get better at and they may need to fill some voids if certain players leave during free agency. In this 2022 NFL mock draft I focus on adding players at potential positions of need for them.
