2022 NFL Mock Draft: Latest Projections After Divisional Weekend
9. Denver Broncos: Charles Cross, OT, Mississippi State
The Denver Broncos are a tough team to peg as to the direction they will go. Corner and edge could be addressed, and there’s still the quarterback question marks. In this 2022 NFL Mock Draft, they take advantage of a tackle falling to them. Charles Cross doesn’t have right tackle reps, but he’s worth trying there to compete the group up front. His skills in pass protection are the best in the class.
10. New York Jets (via SEA): Kyle Hamilton, S, Notre Dame
The Jets are back up in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft, and this time it’s to get a game-changer at the safety position. It may bring up Jamal Adams flashbacks, but Kyle Hamilton is worth it. He has rare size, versatility, tackling skills, and ball skills for the position. Hamilton can line up everywhere and make an impact for the Jets early.
11. Washington Football Team: Malik Willis, QB, Liberty
It’s certainly possible that the Washington Football Team, believed to be a quarterback away, make a move in free agency or via trade. However, there are no guarantees, and here they address in it the 2022 NFL Draft. Malik Willis has the arm strength, wow throws, and mobility on tape to take a chance on. He could develop into a strong quarterback in the NFL with the right coaching.
12. Minnesota Vikings: Ahmad Gardner, CB, Cincinnati
The Minnesota Vikings could be tempted to take another quarterback in the 2022 NFL Draft, especially with a new regime coming in to take the reins. Instead, though, it’s back to the corner well. Ahmad Gardner has the physical play, ball skills, and offers plenty in terms of run support.
