2022 NFL Mock Draft: Latest Projections After Divisional Weekend
The latest projections after divisional weekend are here for this 2022 NFL Mock Draft, featuring a run on receivers and four first round QBs.
Following a weekend of blowouts, it’s hard not to be romantic about football after watching the divisional round games. The two top seeds went down on Saturday, after struggling offenses failed to get footing. Both Bengals kicker Evan McPherson and 49ers kicker Robbie Gould hit game winners as time expired, sending two unlikely teams to the championship round.
Sunday was even better. The Rams got out to a big lead over the Bucs, but a few turnovers later and many wondered if it was Atlanta versus New England all over again. The Bucs tied it, but a zero blitz call led to a Matthew Stafford to Cooper Kupp connection for the ages, with yet another game winning field goal with no time on the clock, giving a third road team a win.
Then the Chiefs and Bills delivered a game that will go down as perhaps the best playoff game of all time. A 26-21 game with two minutes to go turned into a classic of giving the opposing quarterback too much time. A 36-36 tie at the end of regulation led to a game-winning drive for the Chiefs, as Patrick Mahomes found Travis Kelce.
