Round 7, 232nd Overall: Daniel Bellinger, TE, San Diego State

It may not be up there with other needs, but the Los Angeles Chargers could use some more help at tight end. It’s a position that takes time to get up to NFL speeds, so more talent in the room makes sense. Daniel Bellinger would be a nice addition, as he’s a strong blocker at the point of attack and offers some in terms of receiving chops.

Round 7, 250th Overall: Josh Sills, G, Oklahoma State

Getting competition at right guard would be a good thing for the Chargers to hopefully solidify things up front for the future and protect Justin Herbert. Josh Sills offers strong hands and good power to hold his ground in pass protection.

Round 7, 253rd Overall: Tyquan Thornton, WR, Baylor

Why not get more help for Herbert late? With so many late picks in this Chargers mock draft, Tyquan Thornton would be an interesting player. He’s got a smaller frame for someone so tall, but Thornton has good body control and ball skills, along with some straight line speed to pick up yardage after the catch.

Round 7, 254th Overall: Blaise Andries, OL, Minnesota

Another offensive lineman finishes out the mock here, as Blaise Andries would be another guard at the next level who could be brought in to fight for a starting spot that feels open right now.
