Round 4, 132nd Overall: Christian Watson, WR, North Dakota State

While the team does have stand-out wideouts in Cooks and Collins, they’ll likely want to improve the back end of their depth. Currently, on the roster, the team has Phillip Dorsett, Chris Conley, and Danny Amendola.

Not only would the team need to give Mills another solid wideout, but if they would benefit from a big body. That’s where 6-foot-5 speedster Christian Watson out of North Dakota State comes in.

After a successful career at North Dakota State, winning four titles in five years, Watson should land on most NFL teams’ radars. At 6-foot-5 the wideout is tall and lanky, but it’s his impressive speed that should be of note.

Not only will teams get a chance to see him at the Reese’s Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama but they’ll also get a full display of his speed. If Watson is able to run a 4.3 flat or faster time, it wouldn’t be a shocker if his names rise up draft boards.

His speed is one thing but his stats are highly impressive as well. Despite missing three games on the season, Watson led the team in receptions (43), receiving yards (801), and receiving touchdowns (7). He had 23 more catches than anyone, 517 more receiving yards, and three receiving touchdowns more. Watson might take some time to get acclimated to the NFL, but he should be on every team’s radar.
