15. Philadelphia Eagles (via MIA): Ahmad Gardner, CB, Cincinnati

The Philadelphia Eagles sit with great capital for the 2022 NFL Draft, and made the playoffs anyway. They have a pick from the Colts and Dolphins, and should use the capital they have to build their defense. It starts with corner in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft.

Darius Slay has been good for the Eagles in 2021, but they need to have a strong player to take over the mantle when Slay is done. Ahmad Gardner has been phenomenal in college for the Bearcats. He’s physical in press and throughout routes, is a great tackler, and hasn’t allowed a touchdown in his collegiate career. Gardner held his own against Alabama in the playoff semifinal.

16. Philadelphia Eagles (via IND): Tyler Linderbaum, C, Iowa

The second pick in a row for the Eagles features a strong replacement at an important position. Could it be time for Jason Kelce to hang it up? This last playoff run could signal the end. Philadelphia drafted Landon Dickerson, but he could stick at guard and make way for a perfect replacement.

Tyler Linderbaum is a near-perfect replacement for Kelce. Linderbaum has excellent initial quicks and explodes out of his stance. His space blocking is excellent and he does a great job leading the way and picking up backside pursuit. Anchor is the question mark, but this scheme should give Linderbaum very few issues.
