11. Washington Football Team: Malik Willis, QB, Liberty

This offseason is a big one for the Washington Football Team. After failing to repeat as division champs, a quarterback upgrade is of great importance to the franchise. The 2022 NFL Draft will have some options, and that’s the direction they go in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft.

Malik Willis is one of the most fascinating studies in the 2022 NFL Draft. He’s got the rocket arm, improved accuracy, and mobility to make plays off-script. There were some issues with interceptions and the quickness of diagnosing things post-snap, but Willis also has had a poor supporting cast. Washington gives him a strong group of with which to work.

12. Minnesota Vikings: Andrew Booth Jr., CB, Clemson

Minnesota could be in the market for a quarterback as well (and we might get to that later in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft) given the state of likely firing Mike Zimmer and looking to escape mediocrity. Whoever takes over will likely face the task of rebuilding the defense, and corner is a very good place to start.

Andrew Booth Jr. is the pick here, who recently declared for the draft. His ball skills and high-pointing ability are almost unnatural, but what’s really impressive is how disciplined his eyes are and how quickly he diagnose working downhill. He’s good with transitions and can hang in man coverage while also being a major factor in the run game.
