9. Denver Broncos: Derek Stingley Jr., CB, LSU

The Denver Broncos should be involved in what could be a wild offseason. They are a team that looks to be a quarterback away, and could hire an offensive mind to lure a quarterback to them. Will they make a move for one in the 2022 NFL Draft? Time will tell, but not in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft.

With Vic Fangio out and Kyle Fuller potentially gone as well, Denver could look to pair Patrick Surtain II with another talented corner. Here, they get LSU corner Derek Stingley Jr., who presents a rare combination of ball skills, ball production and instincts. He’s great in man coverage and could lock down one half of the field while Surtain gets the other.

10. New York Jets (via SEA): Kyle Hamilton, S, Notre Dame

Talk about a great scenario falling into your lap. The Jets need help on the edge, and likely won’t make a move for corner early if they believe in Bryce Hall and Michael Carter II. However, they could use an impact safety on the back end, and Kyle Hamilton is that and more.

Hamilton has rare size, good athleticism, and has the versatility to thrive deep in single high/two high, and can drop down to win key matchups in man coverage and tackle in the open field. His speed and range, along with his length, are key to quickly closing passing windows. Saleh would love to have Hamilton in his defense.
