29. Kansas City Chiefs: Chris Olave, WR, Ohio State

The Kansas City Chiefs still have their groove after falling to the Bengals, and enter the playoffs as the AFC favorite. The defense is playing good ball, and with Tyreek Hill out, Mecole Hardman had one of his best games in his young career. The wide receiver room looks a bit thin for 2022, and that’s the direction in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft.

Chris Olave adds another smaller receiver to the room, but Olave is an advanced route runner who can separate at any level. He has great hands, good body control, and even offers sufficient speed to be a deep threat in the offense while also being a chain-mover.

30. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Roger McCreary, CB, Auburn

It’s getting to be a broken record that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers can likely go best player available in the 2022 NFL Draft, but there will be a couple players who probably don’t return to the team. They could lose someone on the offensive line and potentially Carlton Davis to free agency.

Here, the Bucs find a good replacement at the corner position, one that has been a struggle in 2021. Roger McCreary played very well in the SEC all year, with great skills in man coverage. Speed is the biggest question for McCreary, but he can prove his first round buzz is warranted down in Mobile.
