Kentucky Wildcats wideout Wan’Dale Robinson has officially thrown his hat into the ring, declaring for the 2022 NFL Draft.

Early in the process, many were down on the 2022 NFL Draft class at wide receiver, citing the past two classes as proof of a drop off. So far, though, the 2022 group is proving that they are pretty darn good as well. Drake London, Garrett Wilson, Treylon Burks, and more could come off the board in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft, and many are listed as strong day two selections.

The latest to enter the 2022 NFL Draft is none other than Kentucky wide receiver Wan’Dale Robinson, who announced he was declaring in a video on Twitter.

Robinson spent two seasons with the Nebraska Cornhuskers, catching 91 passes and getting 134 carries on the ground. He was a versatile piece in the offense, but decided to transfer to Kentucky for the 2021 season.

It turned out to be the right call, and Robinson was heavily featured in the offense. He caught 104 passes for 1,334 yards and seven touchdowns, and rushed seven times for 111 yards as well. Robinson built quick chemistry with quarterback Will Levis, and the two put the heat on SEC defenses all season long.

Robinson is an electric playmaker who fits extremely well in any offense. With ones that are built to attack quickly with RPOs, bubble screens, and quick screens, Robinson has the speed and toughness to threaten with the ball in his hands. Robinson is also a great deep threat with great play speed to threaten up the seam from the slot and stack corners.

Teams that are looking for an electric playmaker and versatile chess piece will be big fans of Robinson in the 2022 NFL Draft. There’s no reason that with strong testing he escapes the second round. All he does is make plays at every level, and he will do that in the NFL.
