Round 4, 104th Overall: Max Mitchell, OT, Louisiana

The Cleveland Browns feel pretty set across the offensive line at the moment. Joel Bitonio has been outstanding moving out to left tackle in relief, and Nick Harris did a nice job filling in for J.C. Tretter on Saturday. However, the injuries to Jedrick Wills and Jack Conklin can’t be ignored. James Hudson III is there, but he’s still a project for the long-term.

Max Mitchell is an intriguing tackle prospect who will likely get more hype as the 2022 NFL Draft process gets underway. With his athleticism, quick feet, and good hand usage, he can easily be the third tackle in Cleveland and potentially spot start if needed in 2022.

Round 4, 113th Overall: Bryan Cook, S, Cincinnati

The Browns did upgrade the safety position in 2021, adding John Johnson III in free agency and getting Grant Delpit back after he missed all of his rookie season. The secondary has been a strength down the stretch, and Johnson is playing better after a bundle of missed tackles early in the season.

Still, it wouldn’t hurt to add more to the safety room. Bryan Cook is a superb athlete with the range to handle the back end, but he’s also a great tackler in space and could play near the box if needed.
