17. Los Angeles Chargers: Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas

Since the Chargers have been so poor up front against the run, both defensive tackle and linebacker would be suitable selections. However, wide receiver could potentially be in play, and this 2022 NFL mock draft explores that possibility.

Treylon Burks can be the vertical threat in the offense that could end up vacated by Mike Williams. His size/speed combination is rare, and he’s dominant at the catch point using his frame and body control.

18. Las Vegas Raiders: Jordan Davis, DL, Georgia

The Raiders have a fearsome duo on the edge, but they’re a unit that is super inconsistent against the run. It’ll be interesting to see what Mike Mayock does this time around, and in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft, defensive tackle is the selection.

It’s probably a little high, but Jordan Davis is an elite early-down defender. His size makes for a great space eater against the run, and his quickness to attack gaps will help his transition as a pass rusher.

19. Philadelphia Eagles: Tyler Linderbaum, C, Iowa

The Jalen Hurts experiment is getting clearer, and even with three first round picks, drafting a quarterback doesn’t make too much sense. It’s better to give Hurts the reigns and build around him.

Jason Kelce could end up retiring after the season, and Tyler Linderbaum would make for a seamless transition. Linderbaum has the explosion and athleticism to be an elite space blocker like Kelce, and sufficient power to hold up in pass protection.

20. Baltimore Ravens: Kenyon Green, OL, Texas A&M

A healthy Baltimore Ravens squad will be a challenging one to beat in 2022, but the team needs to get the offensive line right to keep the engine going, and they do so in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft.

Kenyon Green might not end up going very high in the 2022 NFL Draft, but his skills are well-received here. Green has the ability to play right tackle or either guard spot, giving the Ravens flexibility to roll with their best five.
