2022 NFL Mock Draft: Three Tackles Go Top Five, Panthers Select QB
The latest 2022 NFL Mock Draft features a heavy dose of EDGE and tackles in the top 10, and the Panthers and Washington Football Team selecting quarterbacks.
Just two weeks remain in the 2021 NFL season, sans the Monday night game between the Saints and the Dolphins. The race for the wild card in the AFC is as muddied as ever. The Bills and the Bengals have retaken division leads, while the Chargers and Ravens are hanging on to slim playoff hopes. The Patriots have dropped two in a row that should give fans concern, and the Chiefs are now in full control.
On the NFC side, five teams have already punched their ticket to the postseason. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers responded well with Antonio Brown’s return, and the Packers and Cowboys have each won four straight. The Rams have righted the ship, while the Cardinals find theirs sinking with each passing week. The final two spots are up for grabs, as the 49ers look to hang on while others crash the party.
2022 NFL Mock Draft: Latest 1st Round Projections
Sunday saw some crazy action and some impressive performances. Joe Burrow and the Bengals rolled Baltimore on the back of Burrow’s 525 passing yards. Justin Jefferson set a new record for most receiving yards through a player’s first two seasons, and the Chargers got ran on by Rex Burkhead. The Cowboys rolled Washington on the back of Dak Prescott’s excellent first half.
Will the Bears fire Matt Nagy? He and Nick Foles helped the Bears to win in a snowy Seattle with a wild two point conversion. Could Matt Rhule get the boot as well? Somehow, Joe Judge and Daniel Jones are safe.
All the wild stuff aside, it’s time for a new 2022 NFL Mock Draft, a late Christmas present of sorts. It’s a perfect time for some presents to go out to teams in desperate need of roster help. Both teams in the Big Apple will get reinforcements, trench players come off the board early, and once again, a magic number of four quarterbacks in round one. Let’s dive in!
