17. Cleveland Browns: Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas

Was the problem with the Cleveland Browns really Odell Beckham Jr. all this time? Or were Baker Mayfield and Kevin Stefanski an issue as well? It isn’t easy to assign a blame pie, but this is a unit that should be better on offense. In this 2022 NFL Mock Draft, they finally get some reinforcements at wide receiver.

Treylon Burks is a unique talent at 6’2″ and 230 pounds. He has impressive size and great speed for the position, and his hands and body control are exceptional at the catch point. His route running is still a work in progress, but he’ll be able to use his hands and size to separate as he works on his route tree.

18. Baltimore Ravens: Ikem Ekwonu, OL, North Carolina State

Often times, the Baltimore Ravens will sit around during the draft and scoop up a steal that shouldn’t be available when they are picking. It happens in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft as well, as the Ravens get serious offensive line help in Ikem Ekwonu.

Ekwonu would be an excellent replacement for Alejandro Villanueva. He buries defenders in the run game and has improved as a pass protector, moving his feet much better and hanging on with better grip strength and a better anchor. Ekwonu will be a force for the offense and help out Lamar Jackson going forward.
