2022 NFL Mock Draft: Aidan Hutchinson to Jags In Two-Round Projection
13. Las Vegas Raiders: Jameson Williams, WR, Alabama
The Las Vegas Raiders were a pleasant surprise early in the 2021 season, having beaten two good AFC North foes in Pittsburgh and Baltimore. They had been leading the league in explosive pass rate and had two edge rushers who got after quarterbacks at will. As the hype and promise have cooled, it’s clear that another big play threat needs to be in this offense.
The Raiders go with Jameson Williams in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft. Williams is pure speed who can take simple, quick completions and turn them into scores. What’s so important for Williams is his ability to stop and start quickly but also to change tempo to fool corners. He’s a big, long player who can win at the catch point as well.
14. Philadelphia Eagles (via MIA): Tyler Linderbaum, C, Iowa
It might be time (soon) to say goodbye to our friend Jason Kelce, who’s been a warrior so far in 2021. His quickness and athleticism are unmatched at the position right now, but there might be a younger version of him in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Tyler Linderbaum is the pick in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft. Linderbaum has a similar blend of explosion and athleticism. He’s quick out of his stance, can be effective pulling, and has the toughness, balance, and mean streak to dominate in pass protection. His size is an issue, but not for this system in Philly.
