9. Atlanta Falcons: David Ojabo, EDGE, Michigan

The Atlanta Falcons playoff hopes were effectively dashed in San Francisco on Sunday, but it didn’t seem like this Falcons team was a playoff team in 2021. The offense has really missed Calvin Ridley, and they’ve failed to target Kyle Pitts often enough in the passing game. The defense could use some help too, and they get some in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft.

It sounds like David Ojabo is still mulling it over, but he should easily be a first round pick if he declares. Ojabo is improving as a pass rusher at a wicked rate, and is learning elite moves on the fly. His athleticism is impressive to handle the run and collapse the pocket.

10. Philadelphia Eagles: DeMarvin Leal, DL, Texas A&M

The Philadelphia Eagles no longer have so many top 10 selections, but that won’t stop them in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft. They’ve got plenty of needs to fill, and they start here with the defensive line in their selection of DeMarvin Leal.

Leal is a unique player at 290 pounds. He shouldn’t move as fast and as quick as he does, and his power and hand usage is impressive at the point of attack. Leal can win with quickness on the interior and should be a great fit for defense who run multiple fronts. He could thrive quickly with the Eagles if he joins that unit.
