2022 NFL Mock Draft: Aidan Hutchinson to Jags In Two-Round Projection
5. New York Giants: Evan Neal, OT, Alabama
The New York Giants are in complete disarray right now, especially on the offensive side of the ball. With Daniel Jones out, it has been Mike Glennon running the show, and things haven’t gone well at all. The situation needs to be good for whoever is under center in 2022, so offensive line is a priority here.
Evan Neal falls into their lap, and he’s the pick in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft. Neal has some experience on the right side, and would form a good duo with Andrew Thomas. He’s powerful, has fleet feet, and should be effective in both phases of the game.
6. New York Giants (via CHI): Kenny Pickett, QB, Pittsburgh
Like stated above, there’s a chance we see Joe Judge and Dave Gettleman out of town by the season’s end, and that could mean moving off from Jones as well. Getting a quarterback could end up a priority, and there’s go guarantee they end up with someone like Russell Wilson via trade.
In this 2022 NFL Mock Draft, Kenny Pickett heads to the big apple. Pickett played phenomenal football in 2021, and grew more efficient as a passer to all levels of the field. His poise and pocket movement has been impressive as well. He’s QB1 for a lot of analysts, and could be the guy for the Giants.
