2022 NFL Mock Draft: Aidan Hutchinson to Jags In Two-Round Projection
31. Kansas City Chiefs: Kingsley Enagbare, EDGE, South Carolina
Getting Frank Clark back has been huge for the Kansas City Chiefs, and Melvin Ingram has been important in their defensive resurgence. When those two and Chris Jones finally share the field, offenses will be getting nightmares game planning. Still, there’s no guarantee Ingram comes back in 2022.
The Chiefs go edge here in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft, selecting South Carolina’s Kingsley Enagbare. Enagbare plays with great power and pop in his hands, and showed up well in SEC play in 2021. He can trim the edge with his ability to convert explosion to power, and can hold up well to set the edge and contain when necessary.
32. Green Bay Packers: Jermaine Johnson II, EDGE, Florida State
The Green Bay Packers will have several decisions to make in 2022, almost too many to count. Extensions are likely on the table for Jaire Alexander, Elgton Jenkins, and even Marquez Valdes-Scantling. Could Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams both return? Maybe, but at the expense of the defense.
Jermaine Johnson II would be a great target for the Packers in the 2022 NFL Draft. He’s a strong run defender who is getting better as a pass rusher. His best football could be ahead of him like Rashan Gary, and Johnson could form a lethal duo with Gary for seasons to come.
