31. New England Patriots: Devin Lloyd, LB, Utah

With D’onta Hightower being a free agent in the offseason the Patriots may look to add a linebacker in the draft. Adding Devin Lloyd this late in the first round of this 2022 NFL Mock Draft would be tremendous value and I believe that Lloyd would thrive playing in New England.

Lloyd has shown everything you want to see in a potential starting linebacker in the NFL. He’s consistently produced over his career at Utah as he recorded 91 tackles in 2019, was first-team all Pac-12 in 2020, and was named a mid-season All-American this season.

Lloyd has consistently performed well in all areas of playing linebacker as he can defend the run, tackle well, pressure the quarterback, and cover well. So, while he may not have the athleticism that you see in linebackers who come off the board early in the first round, he still is a very good football player.

32. Green Bay Packers: Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas

With Davante Adams being a free agent next offseason along with Equanimeous St. Brown, Allen Lazard, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling, the Packers could find themselves with a big need for pass catchers.

Treylon Burks checks a lot of the boxes of a first round receiver. He’s a good route runner as he’s very smart and is good at finding holes in the defense and also changes his pace well when running his routes, he’s also very good in contested catch situations as he’s 6-foot-3 with good hands and body control. Burks has recorded 1,100 yards and eleven touchdowns this season, building a very convincing case for him to be a first round pick.
