2022 NFL Mock Draft: Panthers Go QB, Giants Double Down On OLine
25. Baltimore Ravens: Drake Jackson, EDGE, USC
The Baltimore Ravens are limping to the finish line in the AFC North, and somehow sit at the top even with all the injuries. It’s a unit that could be better on defense in 2022, especially if they added more help on the edge opposite Odafe Oweh.
Drake Jackson is an athletic edge rusher who can also win with quickness and speed on the outside arc. Jackson and Oweh would form a dynamic duo for a long time.
26. Dallas Cowboys: Daxton Hill, S, Michigan
The Dallas Cowboys have a defense now! While the offense is finding its groove again, the defense is holding down the fort to keep the NFC East lead. The front seven is playing great, but they could use another playmaker in the secondary.
In this 2022 NFL Mock Draft, they get a fairly popular pairing around the draft world in Michigan safety Daxton Hill. Hill can play the nickel, handle things deep with his range and ball production, and can handle things in the box.
27. Kansas City Chiefs: Kingsley Enagbare, EDGE, South Carolina
The Kansas City Chiefs wouldn’t surprise anyone if they went offense in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft, but here, they address the unit that’s been playing better football down the stretch.
Kingsley Enagbare would add more to a front that is producing with Chris Jones and Melvin Ingram. Enagbare brings good quickness and power as a rusher, and could find early success as a rookie next to Jones.
28. Arizona Cardinals: Roger McCreary, CB, Auburn
The Arizona Cardinals are clearly high on Marco Wilson’s ability, and they have a strong secondary with Byron Murphy and Budda Baker. However, with the receiver talent out west, more help isn’t the worst thing.
Roger McCreary is the pick here for the Cardinals in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft. McCreary has great man cover skills and can play in trail technique or sit in receivers’ hip pockets. He’s physical and played great football in the SEC this season.
