9. Atlanta Falcons: Garrett Wilson, WR, Ohio State

The Atlanta Falcons are a team with plenty of needs heading into the 2022 NFL Draft, from edge rusher to offensive line. Yet, this is an offense that could use another playmaker, depending on what happens with Calvin Ridley.

Garrett Wilson would be a fabulous addition. Wilson is a true separator as a route runner, wins at the catch point, and is a fluid mover after the catch. He’d be great with Kyle Pitts leading the Falcons playmakers.

10. Philadelphia Eagles (via MIA): George Karlaftis, EDGE, Purdue

It’ll be interesting to see what the Philadelphia Eagles do regarding the edge this offseason, as Brandon Graham is set to hit free agency and Derek Barnett hasn’t lived up to round one billing. In this 2022 NFL Mock Draft, they add another powerful rusher to the mix.

George Karlaftis may not have the production of others in the Big Ten in 2021, but he’s strong, technical, and possesses more athleticism than given credit for. He’s got good closing speed and does great work to counter at contact.

11. Philadelphia Eagles: Devin Lloyd, LB, Utah

It’s about time the Eagles address the linebacker position, a position in which they’ve lacked a true playmaker, and they do so in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft, selecting Utah linebacker Devin Lloyd.

Lloyd is always around the ball, whether it be in coverage or working downhill. He reads the quarterback’s eyes well, and does a great job working around blockers to make plays in the backfield. He’s a production machine who can make an instant impact.

12. Minnesota Vikings: DeMarvin Leal, DL, Texas A&M

The Minnesota Vikings might have a new regime in place as well in 2022, and the defense might be the place to start in the 2022 NFL Draft. Danielle Hunter has dealt with injuries, and Everson Griffen is on his last leg.

DeMarvin Leal is a bit of a hybrid defensive lineman, but he has the power and quickness to be a factor against the run on the edge and push the pocket as a rusher from the interior.
