NFL Rookie Rankings, 21-25

21. Najee Harris, RB, Steelers

Harris is still getting the feel for what’s happening in front of him and diagnosing what gaps will open up, but his lateral quickness, toughness through contact, and reliability as a receiver have made him reach the lofty expectations in year one.

22. Azeez Ojulari, EDGE, Giants

The stat sheet has run dry for Ojulari of late, but he’s still had a strong season for the Giants. His work to counter at contact is improving, and using his athleticism to help against the run will be important to unlock more going forward.

23. Alijah Vera-Tucker, G, Jets

Despite giving up a ton of pressures via PFF, Alijah Vera-Tucker has still been the bright spot on the Jets offensive line. He’s often the secret sauce behind successful runs for the offense, and still remains a strong pick for the Jets (even as a guard in the top 15).

24. Pete Werner, LB, Saints

Pete Werner is still flying under the radar because of how good the Saints front is playing. He’s been a phenomenal tackler with can be a block deconstructor when asked to do so. His coverage skills are improving as well.

25. Baron Browning, LB, Broncos

His first appearance on the NFL Rookie Rankings, Baron Browning has had a very good last few weeks with snaps on defense. His athleticism is helping a ton in coverage, and his speed is helpful working downhill and carrying in coverage vertically.

Honorable Mentions

Gregory Rousseau is still playing well on the Bills front, especially against the run. Speaking of the Bills, Spencer Brown has exceeded some expectations at right tackle in year one as a third round selection. Eric Stokes has been a bit up and down, but his highs are extremely impressive in coverage. Christian Barmore is good at attacking gaps as a pass rusher, and Michael Carter II is doing well for the Jets.
