NFL Rookie Rankings, 11-20

11. Odafe Oweh, DE, Ravens

He had 40 quarterback pressures through week 12, second only to Parsons and tied for fifth in the league. Oweh has been a great traits bet for the Ravens so far, with ridiculous athleticism, a wicked first step, and the speed to quickly make tackles punching at air.

12. Trey Smith, OL, Chiefs

He’s been rock solid alongside Humphrey this season for the Chiefs. It’s a broken record about how his balance has been exponentially better, but it’s his recognition with stunts and his aggressiveness (while keeping balanced) in pass pro that’s gotten better.

13. Jaelan Phillips, DE, Dolphins

Phillips set the Dolphins rookie record for sacks in a season (8.5) and has played with a red hot motor, never giving up when initially stopped in his tracks on a rush. He’s played his best football in November and December.

14. Elijah Moore, WR, Jets

Talk about red hot since week nine. Elijah Moore is producing like many thought he would for the Jets in the second half, and looks like the bonafide WR1 for the Jets going forward.

15. Nate Hobbs, CB, Raiders

He’s been impressive as a slot defender, using the quickness to close at the physical play to disrupt timing at the top of routes. Hobbs is looking like a late round steal in what looked like a deeper corner class.

16. Javonte Williams, RB, Broncos

Javonte Williams is a mixture of a bowling ball and a pinball at the same time, consistently gaining yardage after contact and improving upon his feel at the line of scrimmage. Williams is becoming more of a factor in the passing game as well.

17. Kwity Paye, DE, Colts

Kwity Paye isn’t lighting up the stat sheet, but he’s been downright impressive against the run, whether it be setting the edge or pursuing from the back side. The pass rushing numbers will come, and Paye might be the guy to have solved the Colts pass rushing issues.

18. Devonta Smith, WR, Eagles

The results aren’t favorable the last couple of weeks, but the process is still excellent. Devonta Smith is still extremely reliable when targeted, and can separate at will. He got a look out of the backfield last week, and it’ll be interesting to see if he’s moved around in these last few games.

19. Kyle Pitts, TE, Falcons

The body of work has been excellent for Kyle Pitts which is why he’s still on the NFL Rookie Rankings. There’s an outside chance he ends up in the top three for rookie tight end seasons ever.

20. Penei Sewell, OT, Lions

Penei Sewell dropped out of the NFL Rookie Rankings for a while, but he’s really come on after a midseason slump. He’s figuring things out, and the sky is the limit for the 21-year-old.
