25. Kansas City Chiefs: Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas

Well this isn’t fair. The Kansas City Chiefs are rolling at the right time, but even then, the offense still isn’t quite where it’s been in the past. Mecole Hardman hasn’t become a strong number two receiver, and this is a team that likes to draft offense early when they can.

In this 2022 NFL Mock Draft, Treylon Burks falls into their lap. Burks is a size/speed nightmare who can erase angles after the catch. He’s strong at the catch point as well, showing off great body control, hands, and high pointing skills. He’d get schemed touches as well as win on vertical routes.

26. Dallas Cowboys: Drake Jackson, EDGE, USC

The Dallas Cowboys have gotten a ton of production from their young guys on defense this season. Micah Parsons has been an excellent rusher, but getting someone opposite DeMarcus Lawrence makes sense long-term.

Drake Jackson is oozing with athleticism and has the traits worth betting on in the first round. He has the speed, bend and flexibility to threaten the outside track. He needs work in the run game, but getting after the quarterback is paramount.

27. Baltimore Ravens: Trevor Penning, OT, Northern Iowa

The 2022 NFL Draft will be an interesting one for the Ravens. The wide receiver core feels set, and while offensive line is the priority, there are injuries and a potential lack of depth facing them in the secondary.

Offensive line is still the pick here. Trevor Penning could be a big riser depending on how things go down at the Senior Bowl in February. Penning is a mauler who could fit well in Baltimore’s running scheme.

28. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Trent McDuffie, CB, Washington

The Buccaneers could be the toughest to figure out, as their needs are few and far between. This 2022 NFL Mock Draft has them addressing what’s been the biggest weakness in 2021. Carlton Davis could leave after the season, and the corner position could use some more help.

Trent McDuffie is the latest in a long line of Huskies DBs who can make an impact quickly at the next level. He’s physical and quick in coverage, fills well in run support, and plays with great effort on every snap.
